[noplaceprojects*] is a project-based arts initiative fronted by Liz Helman, curating primarily photography and moving image. Its main area of engagement is the interaction between human beings and cities.

[noplaceprojects*] aim to present a diversity of cross-cultural and transglobal projects. Exhibitions to date have included no place in 2008 and RePlace in 2009.

[noplaceprojects*] is also actively involved in the exploration of these themes in its own work.

About [Liz Helman*]

Liz Helman is a London-based visual artist and independent curator. In her practice she uses photography and moving image to explore the everyday experiences and memories of urban living.

She also works professionally as a magazine and newspaper photo editor across a wide variety of print media.
